Dr. C. Priya is a distinguished academician and researcher with over 21 years of teaching experience in Electronics and Communication Engineering. She completed her Bachelor of Engineering in ECE from Madurai Kamaraj University, followed by a Master of Engineering in VLSI Design from Anna University earning the prestigious Gold Medal. She went on to complete her Ph.D. from Anna University with research focused on epicardial fat segmentation using optimised machine learning algorithms. Currently serving as Professor and Dean (R&D) at Siddharth Institute of Engineering & Technology, Puttur, she brings deep expertise in VLSI Design, Medical Image Processing, Biomedical Engineering, IoT, Wireless Communication, and Machine Learning. A prolific researcher, she has published over 25 papers in Scopus-indexed and UGC journals, presented at numerous national and international conferences, and holds 10 published patents. She has authored books on Image Processing in Biomedical Engineering, Embedded Systems & IoT, Machine Learning Techniques, and VLSI Design, and has contributed chapters to international publications. A dedicated mentor, she has guided over 100 UG and PG projects and has been instrumental in securing research grants from CSIR, NAAC, and ATAL Academy. She is a recipient of the Award of Excellence in Research by IASTE and serves as a reviewer for more than five reputed journals.
